Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good Morning Lynn, sorry your plans have to change your plans, but getting together will still be fun for your FIL. So the smoke made it to you, better to be inside, its safer. Good idea to text your neighbor about keeping her cats inside and Maui too, I’ve had to do that with Jade. There’s been no dog walkers people are keeping their pets inside-smoke is really bad for them….

Good Morning Bellas this morning the same as yesterday still smokey but the smell of it is less. Suppose to move out but then the smoke will be back on Sunday. The sun is shining, yesterday no sun just a gray sky sun couldn’t;t shine through the smoke. Air is still hazardous. Hot and 90’s today but next week it will be much cooler, looking forward to that😃I don’t have plans, just a this and that for today.

Hi Debbie. I think something like flu. Just from in and out of heat, no moisture. I’m good for a few .minutes, then lying down again.
Karen are you staying hydrated? When it is hot you can loose more fluid than you think. It can make you sick!
Yes, lots of water. Just really weak. I used to pass out as a kid when I got too hot. Never figured it out.

The heat just takes so much out of you-I get sick from the heat. It just accumulates in your body. Take a cool shower to cool down it really helps a lot. Acold wash cloth put on the back of your neck helps to. Also eat no Iceburge lettuce. I hope you feel better today Lady bug🐞. Drinking water is good and a must but have something with electrolytes in it, drink some lemonade. We drink lots of water when its hot, but the water also flushed out things our bodies need-have to replace them
