Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I think I was right, the “smart” part of the tv is gone. But Debbie to the rescue. I’m surprised I even thought about it. Use the Roku which we don’t ever use. It basically turns a dumb tv into a smart tv. So I had to go look at the tv to see which hdmi the Roku was on, put it on that one on the tv, get Roku on to YouTube and viola, tv. Ugh..hate when something takes all day to solve.
The tv started out rather normally, it was later it started buffering. We all have buffering problems sometimes. Like here at SPO it can work fine most of the day then start buffering. It took awhile before I realized something else was going on. I don’t like going through ROKU. I have to stop and figure out do I use the Roku remote or tv remote.

The tv in the kitchen and my iPad both get YouTube tv and work. That seems to rule out internet or router or YouTube problem. I think maybe the smart part of the tv went out.
My friend that lives in northern Minnesota doesn’t have cable cuz they’re out in the woods so she has Roku and it sounds complicated to me
I don’t know if it is complicated or not. I mainly have to maneuver to the YouTube tv icon, then it goes there and it is the same YouTube. But now I’m not sure which clicker to use it doesn’t seem like the tv remote does all it used to so I use the Roku remote for some things. My tv is about 8 years old. Apparently when I googled, that is getting old. I don’t know I’ll probably wind up having to get a new tv. Which means I have to learn about new technology to select one.
I hate learning new things, I just got a new phone and I’m still learning different things about it
I am with you Deb. I’ve had my phone for years and still learn things. It seems I’ll have to use two remotes? The Roku one and the tv one? I’m not even sure. Then the rest of the tv will go bad and I’ll have to get a new tv. I’m not a normal person when buying things. I have to study, learn what is new, compare. I’ll know more than the sales person! Electronic anything is the worse.

I talked to Julie briefly. Gery and her mother had gone to Ashland. Her mother called Julie, she had forgotten her list and wanted Julie to read ot to her. Gery was loosing patience with Mom. He went with her instead of Julie, something about it being so cold outside and better if he went. Judy had to go to ER. Has a cracked tooth and a dentist appt in Jan. This tv has driven me crazy. I don’t know what is going on. I can get tv on my iPad and have been watching, but that makes it hard for me to check in here for chat. I can’t figure the tv out, why I can’t get it to do right but can my iPad.
Hello! The Memorial for Deb was very nice. It we only 45°but, it was pleasant. A very small group of us were there. I got to talk to her husband before the memorial.. I am starting to calm down now…….Rick out the lights on the tree while I was gone. I do not like our tree, the branches are not sturdy and most ornaments are to heavy for the wimpy branches!!! So I stopped decorating it and let him do it but he wasnt that careful putting my breakables on so I had to move them or take them off.… Read more »
