Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Hello to all. I got a call from Aetna re insurance. Last day, of course! Have to redo a couple of things. My top priority for this morning, what’s left of it. Hmmff. Debbie, I thought I posted something earlier about roku. But I can’t find it. I have some Roku knowledge and would be happy to help you if I can. I have to get this insurance stuff taken care of first though, since they called me at the last minute. 😱
Hi Karen. Thanks. I’m ok with the Roku fundamentals I think. I’m not using it for anything but to access YouTube TV. I do know there are a lot of other things on it but haven’t explored it much. Thank you. I may have questions as things come up, and I know I can ask you!
Ok, just let me know. 😄
Good late morning, almost afternoon….doing some laundry and will do litter boxes in a bit, not sure what else..oh I might try and call my aunt again…sometimes it’s hard to get ahold of her. We might go out for a bit tonight to Aldi, FIL’s…and tomorrow. I got a magazine in the mail so I could read that and/or maybe write out a couple Christmas cards.
Hi Lynn. I’m sure you will find plenty to do. If you find anything particularly good at Aldi’s let me know. I haven’t been there since February 2024 and I wasn’t ready for that venture yet. But I think I am now.
I bet u r ready for lots of stuff, now that u feel better. 🤗 Woo–hoo!!
Thanks Karen I hope so. And I hope for you too.
Thank you. I’m working on it. 😂
Julie called. She was sitting outside in pj’s and a bathrobe. She said it was “warmer” and I said how warm. So she got up, looked at the thermometer. It’s is 20! Yea, warmer. She saw 4 deer come through, a Pileated woodpecker, not sure what else. Judy’s face is still swollen and she has to go back to ER if it isn’t better tomorrow. They are concerned because the swelling is up around her eye. Mom got to bring the car home yesterday and Gery has calmed down. I asked what happened with her dad and the medication I… Read more »
20° Brrrrrr
Thanks for the Julie update😘
Good morning Ardy.
Happy weekend, dear debbie !😘.
The poor dad with his spray. I think, to better be careful and ask a doctor, when he acts weird. He is an old man. A stroke can appear in so many different ways, and a non professional doesnt see it. Not safe. Glad he was better in the end. Stuff like that can end badly. ….just saying.
maybe could be a TIA? DH’s dad has those..glad he was ok.
Could be, but could also be something else.
Only a professional can form an opinion. During my working time in hospital i have seen enough stuff like that , when people think they know, but actually they dont. Then they do the wrong things. Some cases ended fatally.
I hope that her parents have good qualified medical help up there.
Glad that they/he is ok again.
Hi Gabi good advice.
Thanks debbie. I just had to say that when i was reading it.
….and i am only a dumb labtech, but i think:
“Better safe than sorry.” 🙂.
🤬. Don’t ever call yourself dumb.
Lol, i was thinking hard if i should say it or not, sometimes it is better when i keep my mouth shut, lol. But then i thought i better say it.
Wasnt an attack against julie, but she isnt a doctor. Just imagine, something would have went wrong with the dad and they would have missed it. Painful for all of them….
I understand.
What a cute little hospital worker. They don’t have them at my hospital. 🤔 😅
😄
Thanks Debbie. So glad Julie got to see some deer and the woodpecker. Things are really going on there right now. And then Judy also. 😥🥺 I hope everything gets better quickly. 🙏
Hi Debbie ♥ Thanks for the update on Julie/family.💖
Good morning Bella buds and a good day to you. Dreary outside, quiet inside. Nothing much planned for today. Y’all have the best day possible.

Michi and Roger sleeping in the same chair this morning
Awwwww how sweet. Just adorable! 🥰♥️🥰♥️
Sweet kittys!
The colors of your chair, sofa (greenish) and carpet go so nicely together.
Happy weekend !😃.
Thanks Gabi……the couch is blue with a grey cover
they look so comfy and cozy together 💕
Yes, i saw the covers on the couch, but a bit of its real color is visible. It looks greenish /mint -colored to me . Me maybe colorblind? Lolol, could be.😆🤓. But blue is nice, too, and your things look very good.
