Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I’m glad you will see Rick tomorrow but it is a pain it is so far away. I happen to know you are afraid of drinking your morning coffee when going there! It is probably a good place tho. Affiliated with the hospital. Might have more expertise and equipment, better evaluation. Hopefully they can get him ready for home health within the usual 21 days. I hope y’all have a good visit. .

Good afternoon….took Bane to the Farmer’s Market (all I got was a strawberry scone and some cookies called Oh My Goodness! cookies, had lots of yummy things in them. Then to the farm store for cat food, dog treats, and nuts…Aldi for cream, butter, and hamburger patties to grill. I’m enjoying the porch for a bit until my helper arrives to mow…I’m going to the music tonight…no caregiver so DH has to be at his dad’s.
