Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. My Mom usually gets up around 9am then she usually takes a bath. My brother doesn’t get up till 11am so morning news doesn’t happen-I’m not sure if my Mom even has a Covid test kit? might have to go get one for her to test
I know she can’t buy prescriptions at that local pharmacy but do they sell things like test kits to the public?
Walgreens sells them, but she would have to go to Ashland to get one. I just hope shes feeling better today. She said she felt like she was getting a cold yesterday. That’s why I suggested a test
That is a long way to have to go. Maybe she is better. Let’s hope.
Good morning everybody, I’m sitting on the deck looking at the beautiful Lake. It’s cloudy. Cool and I’m listening to the birds. I saw two big birds fly by but I don’t know if it was eagles or not. I couldn’t tell. I guess the official high in Tucson yesterday was 108° but Rick said our thermometer in the shade said 117° and he wasn’t leaving the house. I think we’re just going to go into town today and get some groceries and probably not a lot else is planned. Just wanted to say hi

It’s a bear and it is carved out of a tree but it is getting very rotten. It came with the house
It is so pretty there and you look great. I love the totem pole, tells the local flavor.
