Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. We are 81 NOW and 74% humidity NOW. The sun has been down about 30 minutes.

Checking back in,I’m drinking iced coffee, Had a stressing talk with my Mom, she sounds terrible-was up all night coughing, she does think she has Covid, but hasn’t done a test where she lives there’s no where to get a test.My brother is driving to Ashland to a Walgreens to get her one. I will stop back later just don’t feel like chatting. My Dad is about the same

Every thing is at a much larger city, there is a clinic in town but they will only see members-my brother tried to get a Covid test there and they said they didn’t have any?

Good afternoon…went to church today…we are under a heat advisory today and tomorrow. DH is working at the cemetery but if there is time, we might get ice cream…or maybe just watch Bane play in the sprinkler. The music last night was fun..there was a twist contest and my mom was one of the winners, she won fuzzy dice 😀
