Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. there should be lots of options and styles on line…Vermont country catalog now owns Country Curtains (we bought some from them) ..good quality, maybe more expensive than some..what style, colors are you thinking?
Thanks for the tip Lynn, I will check them out. I want 3-piece tier sets. Seems like everything I’m finding is too drab, just not very pretty, not enough color, or in a few instances too much or “busy” color. I don’t know but I’ll definitely check out your suggestion. Thanks.
well, maybe it will give you some ideas and maybe you’ll see something you like..if it’s too much maybe check for something similar somewhere. In my dining room we have thicker floral ones…but next time I want lighter, easy to wash ones…in a couple rooms we have lace valances and blinds. I don’t want more blinds though! never get around to dusting/ cleaning them.
I do like how you can lower blinds though, during certain times of day…in the evenings I do that little by little and close them at night. and sometimes you want to let in just a little light, sometimes more.
We don’t have much trouble with strong light coming in. Sometimes in the evening in the kitchen, when the sun is close to setting, it can shine in. It is like it is shining under the tree limbs. Doesn’t last long because the sun sets. We have trees all around.
I just want something simple but pretty for the kitchen. Add a little color. Jo will probably want something that she thinks someone can’t see much in at night. But I think someone would need binoculars to know someone was naked, even with a light on, unless they were on the property up to no good and could get closer to the window.
For your kitchen I would pick something cheery like sunflowers🌻

I like cheerful ones too, for the kitchen, and a bit of color would be nice.
I don’t want the lined ones for the kitchen, just cheery, some good color, not bright or dull either.

I like lemons too. Mostly I want a lot of color, but tasteful color.

I once had white, short ones with bright green flowers on it. Looked nice, too.

Good morning Bella Buds. We have a beautiful day, sunny, 77, just 48% humidity. I am cooking ham steak, fresh green beans with country ham and little potatoes, corn on the cob. Sliced tomatoes, Jo will want biscuits.
Ardy will be leaving soon for the airport. I know she had a wonderful visit. But it is nice to go home too!

Good morning girls, I’m up wearing to go but I haven’t taken my shower yet. We won’t leave here until 10:15. My flight leaves at 3:40. I get into Tucson at 8:40 p.m. it’s cool and breezy outside.
