Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello girls!! Since I have been up north at the lake I have seen geese loons Harry’s woodpeckers Downey woodpeckers red-headed woodpeckers deer a fisher cat turkeys sandhill grains a robin squirrels, great blue heron and a. Seagull. And you’ll never guess what came through the neighbor’s yard this morning. Mama Bear and three babies. I was so excited. And I did get pictures but they’re on my camera so I can’t host them until I get home. I don’t get home until tomorrow night at 8:40 p.m.
ARDY! There you are! Wow!!! You have seen a ZOO! I’m happy you got to see all that. I doubt if I could have even named all of those. I’d be like, I saw some kinda crane, 3 or 4 different kinds of wood peckers. You know your wild life. Oh how exciting you got to see mama bear AND the cubs. I’m so glad you are having a good time. I’m so ready to vote, I have researched a lot, my voting will be for who I think can beat T. Tiffany for Govenor all the Dem. candidates are good and are all equal in what they want to do for the state and its people. I’m torn between 2 that are running one I even have a yard sign for. It will be a tough choice to make but both are very good
