Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Yea they don’t want the governor, democrate, to be able to appoint a replacement. If they can let time pass, it goes to election, while the people of KY lack a senator to represent them.
It’s against the law what’s happening and in the mean time his staff is being paid and also him, these people are getting paid for doing nothing and that’s fraud

They should get a special election started now!!! Maybe find a way to squeeze in a temp. What a mess!!

Yes, that is why they want the public to believe McConnell is still functioning. If they buy time it will wait until the election. If it is know McConnell can’t fulfill his duties now the governor can appoint a replacement.
I’m confused. How can they legally show that McConnell can’t fulfill his duties? Isn’t that something that the Governor would be able to do?
I could not remember whether our governor actually spoke to McConnell but I thought not. So I googled and I was right:
The Letter: Sent an ultimatum via letter asking McConnell to prove his capacity to serve or step down.
No Direct Contact: Noted he has had no direct verbal communication with the senator.
Public Challenge: Stated publicly that if McConnell can talk on the phone with others, he should be able to speak directly to the media or constituents. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
I know some republicans have said they had spoken to McConnell. I really wonder?
They are saying that because of a vote in 2024, Beshear won’t be able to do that.
He can if it is soon, appoint a replacement until the end of McConnell’s term. His term ends Jan. 3, 2027.
He needs to get on it, then. He is a Democrat — what’s his problem?
He can’t prove McConnell is incapacitated because they tell the public McConnell is in communication with his staff and in control. But he hasn’t voted in the senate for weeks now.

Hi Debbie. How is Jo doing? Is she struggling to read, etc? When will she be “fixed”? I don’t remember you saying when she would have what done. But then I have been a little confused about everything the past few days.
Jo can hardly read or see her computer screen. Sometimes she can read something with her magnifying glass. It will probably be early September before her surgery.
That is so sad. I thought she was able to do okay with one eye and just had minor vision problems with the other eye. But if she’s having problems with both eyes and is having that much trouble with reading, I would think they could get her in sooner. She must be going nuts. I would be. Can she watch TV?
When we both had cataract surgery the doc made us both “mono vision”. That means one eye is near sighted for reading, the other is farsighted for distance. Her bad eye is her reading eye. So she can’t read or play her computer games. Her good eye is for watching tv, driving which she can do.
Oh, okay. She really is suffering bad then. I would be going crazy and require sanity pills.

She doesn’t play games with other people, just games she downloads from a company called Big Fish. Our friend actually gets the games, and Jo gets them from her and pays half.

Actually to get surgery scheduled in about a month is pretty good unless it is truly an emergency, like it would cause permanent blindness.

Hello..did the Avon order, walked the dogs and then worked on agility with them. Haven’t done that in awhile, takes a few minutes to set up. DH is working at the cemetery and we might go to his dad’s for a short visit.
Dogs are lucky to have a good mom.
