Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I saw this tiny lizard in the house this morning.
Do they bother you? Bet they are cleaner than mice.

1 hour ago…………..Veterinarians at the Ojai Raptor Center appear to be bracing the public for an unfortunate outcome as Jackie, the beloved Big Bear bald eagle, continues to struggle with severe anemia that is not improving.
I guess they will soon take the ultimate step.
Strange, she was strong enough to swim in that lake, but continued to decline after getting help. It is different than my past experiences.

Hello…we had severe storms last night and a tornado maybe 20-30 minutes away from here. This morning we took the dogs to the groomer, then stopped by a food stand…got a Chicago dog for DH and a chili dog for me..going to feed the dogs and do laundry.

Just got a call from my Mom, they are going to keep my Dad a few more days at the hospital. His doctor feels a few more days would be better treating him at the hospitl-my Dad can’t speak any more😫
