Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning! Today is a new day. 🌞 The sun will hopefully shine, and we will hopefully have some rain! I am also hoping that this is just a single post and that it doesn’t double or triple itself. Or disappear. I had a lot of trouble with posting yesterday. I got so frustrated that i had to stop for a few minutes. So then I fell asleep, off and on for about 3 hours. I spent several hours sleeping off and on at the table. I think it happened because i was just so stressed out. I usually save stuff up for one or two days a week. Not so busy. 😚
I know you were stressed and upset about Jackie, for weeks now. Last night I figured you just wanted to get away from the computer for awhile. But I’m really sorry you were sleeping at the table. You really should go get in a more comfortable place and let yourself really sleep. It would be safer too.
