Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA

Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.

There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Last night the bathroom sink plunger got stuck in the sink and of course the water couldn’t drain. I tried to get under the sink to look, even got a small chair. But holding my head down like that made me dizzy and I made it back to my recliner and actually felt nauseated for a brief time. Folks, I know for sure now why when I went to try to buy a mobility scooter I couldn’t load the smallest one at 27 pounds, but I did manage to load the 43 pound one. The big one required a lot… Read more »

Sounds good about the heat Debbie, scary about your nausea, etc. Maybe it’s just from having your head upside down.

Not normal for such a short time to be nauseated. I told my primary the story about the scooter and she thought it was heart related. But I didn’t experience nausea with that and I bent further and longer with no chair and very hot that day.

Heart working harder to get blood to your brain is what I meant, circumstances are different

Yes, I think so. But I know for that brief time it isn’t normal. It has happened for a long time. I always thought it was medicine related, but now I am on a lot less medicine than I was when I came out of the hospital and if anything it is worse. It may be related to heart. I’m not worried about it but I do want to talk to cardio about it. No hurry.

My Spanish teacher was good Freinds with my Dad, he was over at our house all the time. I got to practice my spanish with him, he was from Bogota Columbia, he had a parrot to it was a African Grey. The parrot would fly around outside and fly back into the house through the kitchen window😂 he lived on a farm
