Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I heard from Lin! She is ok. She has had back problems and soon is having steroid injections. She had a lot of fence and gardening work done, hired it done, because she couldn’t do it herself because of her back.. Has planted stuff for Monarch’s, hummingbirds, bees, birds and has several of those in her yard. My emails were going to her junk folder and she didn’t look there. Why was she worried about identity theft?
I really don’t remember but this I think was late February, maybe early March. I just remember I THINK that a friend of hers had identity thief and she just got to worrying about it. Maybe she thought the friends identity was stolen through the contacts. So I wrote down all her info the old fashioned way, on paper. Probably what she did too, why my email went to junk.

Not sure how to start this … Rick won’t be coming home anytime soon. Physically, he’s doing much better, mentally, not so much. It was good Chuck stayed in the room with him last night; made Chuck realize what we’d be up against — he was up all night watching him. Either of us would have to be up around the clock. Rick’s PT doctor is calling in a neurological doctor to read CT scans that were run this morning; PT/Doc thinks the CT is showing a series of mini-strokes. & wants to be sure. I’m so sorry Pam, I really am. Sincere and heart felt love and hugs are being sent to you, Chuck and family. You have the strength of The Rock of Gibraltar. It is a God send that Chuck spent the night in Rick’s room to know this before he was brought home. What I don’t understand is why the staff didn’t know this! It is really great to know Rick can be moved so close to home. You can visit frequently, take him treats, and know he is being taken good care of. Bless you sweetheart.

I am sorry to hear about this Pam. It is good that Chuck spent the night and realized it before Rick came home. Hopefully something can be worked out to accomodate Rick closer to home. Sending HUGS to all of you.
Thanks Becki, when Chuck talked to the doctor this morning, they had already decided on another round of CT scans; the staff had noticed he wasn’t doing as well as he was the other day.
It would probably be good if Rick was fully assessed by the psychiatrist he has been seeing before the stroke. Well, I suppose the hospital already did that. It just entered my mind.
AWwwwww I’m sorry Rick can’t be home 💔 but they are crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s to make sure he’s ok to come home, He will come home just will take a little longer, the move by your house would be fantastic😘 he might be able to come home for a few hours a day and that would be good for his well being-Hang in there Pam. That is really a good thing. Maybe they can figure out what happened. Did they change his mental health medicine? It could easily take this long for a change to really show up in his thoughts, actions, demeanor.
No, none of those meds have changed; this is all due to the stroke(s). Doctor said today’s CT showed more strokes occurred since the original 3 weeks ago.
I understand Pam. Strokes, not history of mental health. I hope they get to the root of it.
I just now saw the CT showed more strokes. Now I understand. So more strokes in the hospital. That explains everything. I know that saying this is a big letdown is an understatement. I wish I could really hugs you.
He had more mini strokes after he was at the hospital-they know what needs to be done and that surgery probably helped him from having more He has you and Kitty and Chuck pulling for him that’s some good support💖
The will get him in good shape to come home, he’s still recovering from his surgery, he’s getting his PT he’s still moving forward😘

I saw that too Ardyth she had no red blood cells and yet she had blood clots, she also wouldn’t or couldn’t eat. Her body was shutting down
