Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Went to 2 appts. The 1st was just a CT scan of my right shoulder. The other was just checking my lungs. I have a nodule that requires checking.
A nodule in your lung? Is that shoulder the one with, I forgot the real word but means dead bone? I hope the nodule is nothing and the shoulder can be fixed.
No, the nodule was discovered when I had pneumonia in 2008. Just have to check on them every 2 years. The shoulder has the dead bones.
The lung 18 years ago. It is good they keep check they will know if it changes. Probably unlikely. I know this shoulder is hard on you. I guess the surgery requires a prosthetic sorta like a knee or hip replacement?
Yes, I don t know to what extent yet, but i guess people get them all the time. Like a rotator cuff surgery. Still scary for me, but i have to do something. How are you doing?
I don’t think for a rotary cuff they put artificial stuff in there? Mostly stitch stuff up? I guess I should google it. So theCT was shoulder. How do they check the lung? Seems it would need an X-ray, ultrasound or CT to see the nodule.
I’m doing really good Karen. A lot better than when I got out of the hospital.

There was just a few before but now its turned into a full on nest between my steps and the side of the house so I sprayed the space between the steps and the house. Yellowjackets are wasps. Hornets look similar in color.
They dont bite you with venom, but they have stingers with venom gland.
Should have someone professional remove the nest. Spray will not really work against a nest, but make them go wild maybe. Take care !
