Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning foggy again and 100% humidity rains coming, no plans rain is for the middle of the day so this and that today. I was surprised with the Burger King I got. The fries were so good,way better than Mcdonalds. McDonald’s fries are to skinny I like thicker fries, fries with potato on the inside. The whopper Junior was really good too. I rate the Burger King 100% better than Mcdonalds, for taste and quality😋😍
our BK is terrible…hardly any cars there in line and at McD’s always a line.
I was pleasantly surprised😍 I had coupons from BK so I thought I would use them then BK is right by the Mcdonalsds so it’s easy for me to get to the store was clean service was great at least I know where to get fries I like😋
We don’t have BK but one in Columbia and Somerset. They are both good. Some franchises are bad because of poor management. Somerset has a good Sonic, but our Sonic and Long John Silver’s both went out of business because of management. Our McD’s does well too. Good morning Lynn.

Me too. It is just a thing of personal taste. To me BK has a bit of a charcoal grilled taste. They are grilled in what is probably a gas open flame machine. I’ve seen the flame.
I am a McDonalds fan all the way….I love their fries because i like skinny fries……just ask Rick.😁

Good morning Sunshine. Burger King is my favorite hamburger fast food and the Jr. Whopper what we usually get. Jo and I get the special pricing of 2 for $5. While I was loosing weight we often got that on our Somerset trips, the only time I ate bread. Without cheese or Mayo they only had 290 calories, so not bad for being away from home and on a diet. I guess after BK next comes Wendy’s.
It’s just a different fast food. The nearest Wendy’s is miles away, I won’t be going there ujhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhJade just typed this😂
Good morning….chance of rain, we’ll see. Last night one of the caregivers quit, another about to be fired. We do have a new one, maybe she can take on some of those hours? don’t know…DH might be at his dad’s today, at least for awhile. We were going to do a couple things, maybe in the afternoon but if not we can go out tonight…couple stores, restaurant, etc. Not sure what I’m doing today, might try on some clothes and possibly put a few in the donation bag.

Good morning again. Sorry about the caregiver situation. I hope it is resolved. When I did for my mother and did the math, round the clock caregiver at $20 per hour costs more than assisted living. Of course I know your husband takes the night shift, so I guess this is cheaper for him. Enjoy your day with whatever you do.
DH isn’t even thinking about that at all…and he would need more than asst living, would have to be a nursing home and you are in your room by yourself, have to wait and wait for someone and he wouldn’t understand calling someone using a button…at home he has someone around the clock, right there near him at all times.
I understand that. I was just talking about it from the financial end. I’m sure he is way happier the way it is. He is still able to know he needs/wants something, but not able to ask for it or push the button. Makes sense. I was never in that situation. I was either unaware of my needs, or able to seek help.

Hi Gabi….We were supposed to hear when the investigation was over and we havent heard anything. We were never charged so that is good.
Our old account still has to be gotten rid of even though it is closed it still has $30 in it.
Hmm, i wish they would have told you the outcome with this woman.

We still don’t know what he stepped on, but my husband had a hole in his good foot, that was the circumference of a pencil and about 1-1/2″ long. Blood shooting everywhere. Never seen anything like it. And he was walking around, looking for bandaids. I got the First Aid stuff, but it didn’t work. Ended up calling 911, which wouldn’t work – i couldn’t hear them. Took a few minutes til they called me back. The Fire Department showed up. Four guys. Checked him out, ekg, provided wound care, applied a coagulation compress, a wrap, and left. Oh my what did I write! CD oils? I know I was trying to say I didn’t know EMTs did that much, like ekg and coagulation compress, but it certainly made sense. He didn’t have to go to the hospital.
Holy cow Karen Marie😫 when did he have his last tetanus shot? maybe he should be checked out by his Doctor and if he needs the shot he can get it from his Doctor at that time I think follow up care with his Doctor might be a good thing to do. I wonder what he hurt himself on?
