Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bellas its overcast and cool. I zonked out last night slept hard I just got up dishes are done. Having my chai coffee aka a Dirty chai😋I don’t see any traces of rain from last night I heard thunder before I dozed off my zinnias are starting to bloom I planted them late so they would bloom at this time, they are good food for Monarch Butter flies, I have seen a monarch on a flower😍 Have a nice Saturday I plan on getting some laundry done that’s it😂

I was talking to Tina about gummies. Don’t they come in different strengths and for different purposes? Like maybe one type is for anxiety, another for sleep, another for pain? I really don’t know anything about them.

Good morning Ardy and thanks. It is funny how they can be formulated for different things all from hemp. I suppose different parts of the plant do have different properties. After all a turnip is nothing like turnip greens! I think maybe it is also because of herbs or whatever is added. I know the drinkables have stuff like that. But at this point my knowledge base is mostly from a lot of Facebook ads, curtaining NOT the best place for info.
Hemp is a different plant, hemp doesn’t get you high but has the CBD chemical in it

Thanks Julie. From what I have read on reliable web sites it is way less harmful than alcohol. The main bad thing I read about any form of marijuana or hemp is that it can lead to trying worst drugs. If I am 73 and never had anything, including marijuana, except alcohol, then I think that would not be a problem for me. The only reason I’m thinking about it is because it is now legal. I think you’re safe from graduating Debbie 😉 That was a good decision on the opioids; you’re way better off with the correct gummy. Any weed store can help; they’re trained for that.
I can’t buy anything in a store that is really a weed store without a medical marijuana, and I think the closest store is Lexington even tho eventually we are supposed to have one right here, my little town. We literally won a state random lottery. I also have none of my doctors who can certify me, none are on the list. Perhaps one of them will actually do it when we get a closer store. 😍I dont believe pot leads you to other drugs.
I don’t either, maybe the younger generation. But they probably would have anyway. They said way back in the 70’s that is one reason marijuana should not be legalized. So what happened? Illegal pot was laced with PCP. Some people got the notion they could fly and jumped off tall buildings. That scene in the movie Forest Gump really happened back then.
I am saying that even younger people smoking pot doesnt lead to other drugs…………stoners are stoners and they arent looking for those other highs. They Might try other drugs but I truly don’t believe smoking pot makes a person try other drugs. That is just my opinion but I believe it.
I don’t think it “makes” people try other drugs. But some illegal pot was laced back then with especially PCP and other things which caused addiction to those substances. That would not have happened if pot had been legal because it would have been controlled. That is why I have been a strong advocate for legalizing pot all my life. Just like during prohibition, there were deaths from lead poisoning due to illegal booze production.

i didn’t say it was, but it happened. I know from working in a mental health clinic 5 years and from classes when I got my masters and from inservice things as a teacher. You should have seen the videos on meth and what it did to people.

I don’t believe pot does either unless that is what you really want to do. Do you know back in the 80’s People had long prison sentences just for possession. Here in Ky you could spend several weeks in jail just for a small amount. I’m talking about just a handful of years ago.
Oh yes I know …I knew a guy that sold pot BIG time, he got off but his partner went to prison for a long time.
And it has always been very risky to try to grow it illegally., still is illegal. They sometimes use helicopters and big raids.
Thats just a rumor they were telling people, out of curiousity you might want to try a stronger drug but it doesn’t make you use stronger drugs, just not how it works, People might stop their pain killers and just use THC its natural not many made so I see it as a better pain management think people getting off of medications that are addicting. I see it a safer just don’t use it and drive

Ardyth the seeds didn’t come up😫 they were cheap seeds from the Dollar store, won’t buy seeds there again plus there was only 4-5 seeds in a packet, it was a rip off, I was so mad about it😡
