Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I saw Dolly 2x, at Pepsi Center arena and Red Rocks. She loved Colo but had a difficult time breathing here; altitude was just too high. Went to Dollywood/Jamboree in May/2013. My goodness we had a good time.

I was just so excired to hear about the planned Vegas residency. I thought for sure that I would finally be able to see her more often. Almost made it.
I was fortunate to see her with Kenny Rogers at the Pepsi center and again at Red Rocks. She was wonderful

It feels like it can’t really be happening.
When I went to Dollywood the first time I ate at Granny’s Kitchen. I didn’t know Granny was Dolly. The food was delicious, real food, southern comfort food. And it was as cheap or cheaper than any restaurant outside of the park. Try finding that at any other amusement or theme park. Just about any place tourist frequent.
After they did remodeling at Dollywood some people went and checked out the restaurant for Thanks Giving they had a mixed revue, its so cool you were there its really a awesome place😍
That is a nice memory to hold onto, Debbie. I always wanted to go, but just never quite got there.

Yes and Dolly gave each affected family $1000 a month for 5 mos; then $5000 to each family when the disaster was declared over 💞

I think different generations went from aunt (niece), granny (great niece), Gigi (great great niece). But then in 1986 when Dollywood opened they called the restaurant Granny. Would Dolly have had great nieces/nephews by then to call her granny? Dolly was just 7 years older than me. She would have been 40 in 1986.
