Thanks. That sunshine has helped melt the snow a little bit here too. Glad that the E-3 cam is working.

He got a few bites that E-4 ate and then he started to panic 🫨 and flew off the nest after a few minutes Anna ll came in and settled down to warm them up. And shortly afterwards Louis ll in with a fresh fish 🐠. I think he wanted to feed them. But Ann ll wasn’t going for that 😢 it was nice to see… Read more »

I was happy about that too. He’s going to be a good dad eagle. 💖 Glad to see that he brought food right away.

Tomorrow through Friday it’s supposed to warm up to the 50’s there, and no rain. That will be nice for them.

Louis came at 17:29. He went straight to the fish and started eating. I thought that he was going to finish it all. But then he moved away and placed the fish on top of the oldest eaglet.

I thought that he was going to eat the fish while it was in the bole, but he pulled it back out of the bole to the side of the nest, and began feeding them at 17:35. He tried and barely managed to give a few bites to them. He didn’t realize that he has to turn his beak sideways, and he ended up tapping them on the beak and head. I read that during feeding, the adult eagle can’t see where the eaglet’s beak is if the parent’s head is facing forward/straight ahead. Because of where their eyes are… Read more »

Thanks Tina! 😃 So happy to hear this, and to see that both eaglets had some food today, although the oldest ate more due to some bonking here and there.
