You are watching a mating pair of Bald Eagles named M2(male) and F3(female). The nest and PTZ cams are located in a Loblolly pine tree near Kincaid Lake in the Kisatchie National Forest. The cams have been set-up and are maintained by the U.S. Forest service. Nesting usually starts in December followed by egg laying in mid to late January.

2021 Nesting Historical Timeline: Louis & Anna 1st egg laid on 12/4/21, 2nd egg laid 12/7/21. Sadly, one of the eggs broke due to Anna having a rough landing on 12/14/21. Hatch watch started on 1/8/22 for the 1st egg and 1/11/22 for the 2nd egg. Hatched 1/12/22.
2022: 2 nests
Alex & Andria – 1st egg laid 11/19/22 2nd egg laid 11/23/22. First egg hatched 12/26/22. Second egg hatched 12/29/22.

Andrea lll gives E3-05 it’s first feeding last night ❤️
On Wednesday Louis ll was on duty and Anna ll came back and she was loudly wanting him get up.. so when he got up his foot was caught on moss.. and E-5 got pulled out of the egg bowl.. it was very scary 😱 but after a while it made its way back under Anna ll ❤️ it did sit there in her face chirping up a storm😂
