Hello…my sister, DH, and I went out of town to a very nice cafe…it was Slovenian…I got tomato, avocado, bacon and something else? on a baguette..with a really good side salad…she got mushroom and Swiss quiche..my DH got something like keilbasa, can’t remember what it’s called..my sister and I got the buy two, get one free bakery treats..we both got three…potica, kolaczki, and baklava. She took our mom to a birthday party but will come over tonight to watch the Olympics.

Miss Matcha found a place to get sunnies and watch some birdies from the low table perch in ‘their’ bedroom that used to be In Lauren’s when she lived at home 😎

Craig has double header basketball to announce today at Queens University. He needs to be there by noon. I will be doing more laundry and whatever else I decide to focus on.

Very cold feeling outside, real feel is 26 we will be getting wind gusts again today. They make it feel much colder.
Such a cold winter.
Yesterday was the pick of the week, it was sunny and warmed up into 50’s. I took a walk mid-day and another nice walk after supper as the sun was setting.
Did laundry and dusted, washed the kitchen floor.
I made a pan of brownies, have not had any in a long time and they tasted good.

I actually took a walk when the plumbers were here. I wanted to check out the drug house now and see what is going on. There was a guy doing some work there. The front yard looks better and so does the back yard. The neighbor next to them whom I have met was backing out of his driveway and he said to …..FINALLY!!!!!!!! So we chatted a bit.

I am very happy for you that the drug house is over with now. We had that on Bay Woods Rd. in Bristol and it was scary. Odd people coming and going and one made a threat to Denny when he was walking Danny up the road, Denny had never seen him before. A woman on our road happened to be driving by as he shouted at Denny and she pulled over and asked did he really say that? I am thankful she got Denny away from the scene a bit and he relaxed some. I was never too scared but there was a few occasions…..once when i was walking in the morning there was a girl throwing big rocks in the street and i was afraid she might throw them at me on my way back. A Couple times I saw weirdos so i turned around and went home.
Always better to stay away from something that looks scary.

I’ve been thinking about baking some brownies or a chocolate chip bar cookie. I’m not sure when I will act on that, lol.
We are really enjoying the brownies I made, I put chocolate chips in them along with cocoa so very chocolatey.😘

Good morning It is 56 degrees at 4:30 AM I am glad yesterday is over………..The two plumbers showed up at 8:45 am and left at 4:45 pm. It was a long day. They got up on the roof and snaked/descaled the pipes to the kitchen sink and the washing machine. It took longer than I thought. They removed the garbage disposal and put in new pipes under the sink. Then they discovered a small leak in a pipe from the sink that runs behind the bottom cupboard to the sewer. Oh wow Ardy, what a stressful day having the plumbers in the house so long. It seems you think they did a good job and having new pipes will be reassuring that you won’t have leaks, etc.. Do not blame you waiting to see if you need bathroom pipes unless you do have an issue.
Mrs. Guthrie’s situation seems very strange. I have not seen news this morning, just came here when I sat down with my coffee.☕

It’s all good because they put the cut out back. Once all the canned goods are in it you will never see the wall. Rick has to put shelf paper down today

Good Saturday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. Raining right now but we just might see the sun in between showers some heavy ones today. River in full flood now just one large lake looking at it from the bypass ideal for a paddle board.lol. We do have yet another unsettled week next week again.🙄.
