Good morning, Going to be another warm day, 62 going up to 87. Extremely dry conditions with no rain forcasted. We talked with our realtor, she is nice but talks very fast. The day before we thought she said the buyer had a cash buyer for their FL home but she meant they would pay cash if their home sale goes through. Yes, we have plans and life goes on. We will keep it listed and we are moving our personal belongings with us so will list the same as furnished. Will keep with the realtor we have.

Traffic just gridlocked this morning managed to make an illegal U turn in the road to go back home.
Probably still gridlocked worse thatI have seen today, goodness knows where all this traffic comes from.

That was after getting the paper from the garage which is as you know just at the bottom of our road onto our estate.
A right turn for 50 yards would take me back onto the estate but I like to give the old dear a run to keep her battery charged.
I guess I might have to keep turning right until they are on holiday.lol. 😀 😘
Oh I see Ice, well that is good you got the paper I thought you had to forfeit it.
I see your roads are more narrow than ours over here so must be hard to get into blocked traffic and just have to wait.

About a mile into town in our Market place is a mini round about.
If I make it to there and it is still choked up I can turn right around this round about and the road home is generally clear.

Hi Kathy. It only happens when the local infants schcol is open. They built it on a nearby housing estate years ago and since then it has snowballed with so many extra infants over the years. So the cars are parked all around that housing estate early morning with people living on that estate getting boxed in trying to get to work, There are plans afoot to ban most of that parking coming soon so then the local roads will be packed out. Jenn, those buyers of yours sure have a lot of nerve; asking to move in like that. If you wanted to, the Realtors would probably be able to work out a rent-back. But that’s such a PITA 😠 especially with you leaving the State. The only way i’d use Pine Sol is if i was outdoors. 🙄

Ardyth, thanks for the idea of Fabuloso; i’ve never heard of it, usually just use vinegar/water with a scrub brush.

I love the smell of the purple Fabuloso. I just use dish soap and water when I was the windows. I used to use vinegar and water or alcohol and water.
Wow, I am glad I mentioned using Pine Sol, I didn’t realize how strong it was, I haven’t used it in many years that I can remember. I was just thinking of something strong to get the areas that Danny drools on the front of the kitchen tiles. I have the steamer mop and like it but it didn’t get some of the darker area on those tiles. I have used Simple Green, in the past I learned about it from a couple who cleaned the medical office I worked in years ago. I will rethink what I use, thanks… Read more »

Good Morning! Sunny and 61 going up to 90. We are in serious need of rain now since we’re in drought conditions but unfortunately there’s not much chance of getting any in the near future. Yesterday I did a couple of loads of laundry amongst other things. Today we are scheduled for the annual Spring Maintenance on our A/C system. The window of arrival could be anywhere from 10 AM to 2 PM depending on how long the previous customer’s service takes. Kathy, Your Creekside Nursery has the most beautiful plants and i love that they, not ‘insure’ them exactly, but if there’s something wrong, they make it right.
Yes they do, Pam 😊 We even like to visit their nursery in Dallas, NC which is only a 45 minute drive. They are family owned and we really enjoyed meeting the owners as well as all of their staff. We feel like we are friends with everyone and they are all super helpful and patient with their customers.

I cleaned the house yesterday and did laundry, nothing too exciting.

I really want a simple sponge mop and could not find one at Walmart or another store. I have the steam cleaner and the swiffer with mop pads but the heavy wet swiffer wet mop pads keep slipping off if I rub too hard at all. I want to go over the floors with a sponge mop with good old Pine Sol so do a more thorough job. I am going to try Dollar Tree or Dollar General. I just want a light weight simple sponge mop.
Let us know if you find a sponge mop.
I have a Shark steamer and it works great, the pads do not come off. I have an old plain swiffer with dry pads that i use most of the time and sometimes use the wet pads.
I can’t tolerate Pine sole smell, I use Fabuloso.
I use Basic H, Shaklee product..lasts forever, you only use a couple drops.
I can’t deal with Pine Sol smell either with my chemical sensitivity. I’m not familiar with Fabuloso. We use Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner (biodegradable and non-toxic).
I am very sensitive when it gets in my lungs so I have to be careful. I forgot about simple green. I love the smell of Fabuloso
