Good morning, The couple buying our house live in Florida and they listed their house and apparently they have a cash buyer who wants to close on their house May 22nd. When they made the offer for our house they picked April 23rd for the closing and we have made our plans around that. As it was left yesterday, our realtor wanted to get the facts on the sale of their home and the closing date and get back to us. Our realtor agreed we should not let them live here a month before the closing which we already decided that was not going to happen. We told our realtor we could be open to changing the closing date if they want to pay or lawyer for being there at the closing since we are packed up and leaving next week as we planned. Good grief Jenn!! That’s an unreasonable request in my opinion. I’m so sorry about this sudden added stress by their desire to change the closing date but move in before then. Absolutely no moving in until the closing is official.
I am happy you agree Kathy, it seemed very unreasonable to us. You just never know about people sometimes. Still waiting to hear back we said no to changing the closing date unless it was no later than early May.
I agree with you. They should keep their originally requested closing date and get the loan. Once they get cash for the closing of their Florida house they can pay off the loan.

A high of 59F but feels 10F cooler in this gusty wind again. We have missed the showers so far this week but we could do with some today to perk up the new plant growth in the garden. Huge grey clouds blowing through now but no wet stuff falling at the moment.
Luckily there is not many oak trees in the vicinity so not a problem here. 😀 😘

that is great…so many don’t get to do that…I’m surprised in a way, my sister’s BIL is UM and can’t take one..ours gets a four month sabb. every 7 years..I think that’s why we’ve been able to have him for so long.
Good afternoon…went to lunch with my cousin…got a meal and salad bar..filled up on the salad bar and took the meal home, lol..my DH had half for lunch. It’s warm out, going to go out and pick up sticks, maybe walk the dogs. We might get big downpours of rain and storms later and other days/nights this week so there will be flooding. Time to go out and enjoy the weather.

I didn’t get to see it myself but this morning the Falcon 9 rocket that launched from Cape Canaveral at 5:33 AM (carrying 29 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit) was visible in the predawn sky here in Charlotte. A local resident posted their photo on the Nextdoor Community Newsfeed.

Good morning Yesterday instead of walking I decided to wash the spare room window. They are so hard to slide I was afraid i would break my wrist again. I am going to have to buy some slider spray. I washed the screen, and windows inside and out. Then I took a wet cloth and wiped each blind row by row. I had no idea they were so dirty!!!!
