Good morning, Bright and sunny, another beautiful day for 64 going up to 80. We had a lot of fun with sis Barb visiting and friend Gene. They were happy to see each other here and we enjoyed talking and laughing on the deck. Had coffees and I made sandwiches for a luncheon. 😘 My hummingbird has what I believe are her 2 babies and they are big now just skinny still. A sunny start to the day a tad cooler today just 78F but warming up again next week into the 80F range once again but still no sign of any rainfall, Lots of fires around then area now everything is tinder dry.🙄.
Sleeping a little better these days but cooler weather cannot come too soon for me now.😓.
Ardy having a good time by the look of her FB posts.
Off to get the paper now at 7-00 nice and cool at the moment.

Getting desperate now lots of fires spring up across the country now.
A cooler day today just 78F but a much fresher feel even my knees feel a bit fresher.But not time for long trousers yet.lol.
It ended up with Tasha GD mother of Penelope who now finds it much for comfortable for her, so bit of good came from it after all.😘

Very worrying now as we are in the schools summer holiday period with barbecues now being fired up.
Some areas are in forested areas with laid out barbecue pits but a stray spark is all it takes in this hot weather🙄😘
Oh dear!! Does your area not have a burn ban in place for barbeque pits?
OMGoodness, Jimmy Kimmel did a “Person on the Street” segment that had folks raving about a new designer water brand, EREWHON; $12 for a 12oz bottle.- ridiculous, i know 🙄 The staff filled a cup labeled EREWHON with water from the hose & had them give their opinion of said water. They raved about it, “so delicious, so refreshing, so healthy. ” Not one of those folks could tell the difference. It was crazy. 😄 My Dad would’ve been shakin’ his head; well, it is LA 😄

Been busy. Chuck left around 8.30a for Pueblo; i gave him money to get some chocolate for Rick; he likes choc better than i do 🙄 That should help perk him up. He’s going to help him use the phone, if Rick feels up to it. Both Kitty and Mary have been calling but he doesn’t answer. His Advocate gave Chuck her personal cell# so we don’t have to go thru the switchboard to find her. 😘 It’s so weird having the kitchen to myself; i cooked shrimp, made Ranch dressing – i like to dip shrimp in it. 😋… Read more »

Good Morning! The steady heavy rain finally arrived late afternoon yesterday. We wound up getting just over 3″ in our rain gauge. More rain is possible today but none has fallen so far this morning. At 10:45 AM it’s cloudy, humid and 69 going up to 78. The temps are definitely easier to deal with right now.
Last evening during the heavy rain this puffy juvie male took shelter under the rain guard.

53 degrees going up to 81. Very low humidity gives it a titch cool feeling outside now but will warm up soon.
The shed delivery did not arrive until almost 8pm last night. Crazy how late the Fedex and UPS drivers work!
Sis Barb is coming for a visit this morning and friend Gene is coming by for some help from Denny with paperwork.
I miss my sewing machine, it will be nice to get it up and going when we settle in Brunswick.😊

Temp next week climbing back to the mid 80F range again with the usual humidity.😓.
They are now getting very concerned about the water supply, with some main reservoirs at a dangerously low level.
Off now at 7-00 for the paper will see you all later.😀😘

A drought has been declared in a few areas now.
No back up Jenn just the reservoirs, although I think they can divert from a full reservoir but not many of them now because this hot weather has affected the whole country. Whereas Scotland would have been able to divert water to England but they have been hot and no rain to speak of there for weeks.
Both water butts virtually empty now filling the bird baths, will have to use mains water now which is metered so could get expensive.😘
