Good afternoon…went to the music last night, fun oldies..there was a twist contest and my mom was one of the winners..she won fuzzy dice 😀…we are under a heat advisory today and tomorrow…DH is working at the cemetery but maybe later? we can get ice cream or maybe just watch Bane play in the sprinkler. I’m going to sit here on my porch awhile longer, not too hot yet.

We have actually just had a short period of Drizzle at 7-00 this morning.
Barely got the ground damp but that was it nothing more to come for this week.lol.
Still no real rain on the outlook either.

Had household stuff to do today so we didn’t go see Rick; we’ll go on Sunday. When Chuck was leaving on Friday, he asked Rick if he wanted anything; Rick said “More Candy”. 😂 He only brought 5! Dad had a sweet tooth like that too.
I’m sincerely appreciative for all the good wishes/prayers — they’re working.

This was my day….I knew it would end up with lots and lots of little parts to put together. I was putting these washers and screws together so Denny could bolt them into the little tin shed. We managed to get the front panels on the back and the back on the front so that had to be taken apart. 😔 This picture of lots of parts of shed to put together to cover and protect the new water tank. Did not get as far as we hoped but there is tomorrow…..
All the little screws I worked the washers onto and tossed them into a paper cup.
There’s a bazillion of them 😯 Lordy!!!!

Good afternoon…farmer’s market with Bane today…got a strawberry lemon scone and some cookies. Then the farm store for cat food, dog treats, nuts..and Aldi for cream and butter. I’m sitting on my porch for awhile, until my helper comes to mow…music in the park tonight, fun! No caregiver for FIL so DH will be there at 5. Going to relax a bit..

Good Morning! Cloudy, humid and 71 going up to 83. We got an additional 1/2″ of rain overnight.
We’re getting low on eggs so I need to get more. I like to buy our eggs from Aldi so I might go there this morning or sometime tomorrow.
This sweet juvie male has been hanging out at our front feeder. I saw his forked tail — females have rounded tail feathers with white tips. My friend Amy and I call him Puffy a.k.a. Puff Boy ❤️ Last evening he was guarding “his” feeder from the nearby swing 😄
Hi Kathy..we’ve been getting eggs at Aldi recently but might see if we can get farm fresh ones from a caregiver…I miss those, DH used to get them from a guy at work and before that from our farmer’s market friend..hers were so pretty!. different colors. Have you had the farm ones? they are really good.
It’s been many years since I had farm fresh eggs. They really are the best.
