Hey there Lovely Early Bird People 🐦 101F, so far; heading to another 108 degree day — Lordy! Rick’s surgery was originally scheduled for noon, they took him in at 3p; my tummy feels like someone stomped on it. I know it’s a common operation, just not on a member of my family. 😟 Kitty and i talked for quite a while, made the time go by without making us crazier. Good morning, 63 going up to 81 degrees, sun all day. Yesterday we worked on the shed, well mostly Denny did. I sat in the rocker under the tent canopy with my crochet and helped off and on. A small building but so many pieces and he had to make cuts for the back pieces because there are pipes and faucets connected to the camp. Still need to do the ceiling but we quit at suppertime. Thank you Kathy, a little progress is better than none. Denny found his drill bits are dull and a couple other tools not working so good. He will pick up some new tomorrow, we are going to Auburn to have supper with Gabe and family and they have a big Lowe’s right there.

Good Morning! It was very foggy first thing this morning but the sun is burning it off. Sunny, muggy and 73 going up to 91 with a chance for afternoon thunderstorms.
Yesterday Craig was able to plant the rest of what we bought from Creekside Nursery and Garden Goods Direct.

A quick hello from Minnesota
It was SO hot here yesterday. Over 90 with high humidity and dew point. Just awful. Went to church and Mike took us for a pontoon ride around Ripple lake. We are going to Duluth today but there’s no ships coming in so I am very disappointed. I have only texted Rick but he says it’s so hot he’s not leaving the house. I looked at the forecast for Tucson and there are many days of 108 and 110 happening and will be happening when I get home. Oh boy everybody have a good day

Not a bad night quite comfortable sleep but still under just the duvet cover.
Up to 74f today so quite cool for us today but back into the high 80F range for the week.
No real let up in this hot weather yet and the latest forecast is still showing no rainfall in sight.😞.

I wish but we did not get that far. Denny put a big tarp over the top of the shed to keep it dry until he can get back to it.

It’s 108F today 🔥🔥 Back from the hospital; Rick’s doing a LOT better, he’s at about 80% of what he was prior to the nightmare that was last Tuesday. I got him a box of Russell Stover chocolates; candy bars were too difficult for him to rip open; this is much easier. He’s scheduled for surgery at noon tomo; a Carotid Endarterectomy; get that nasty plaque out of there. Insurance approval has come thru for OT/PT following the surgery. We are moving forward.
