Good morning. We had a couple different rain showers yesterday which was nice. It was awful cloudy but the sun did shine. It’s only 4:30 a.m. here but it’s 58° so it’s pretty chilly out there. I finished cleaning the house yesterday. Did some laundry and then I made Yorkshire pudding for supper and it did not turn out at all. I followed the directions. I did use shortening, the amount that they said to put in the cups and they were just soaking in it after they baked. So I won’t be trying that recipe again or one like… Read more »

Sorry Ardy, I know you tried hard making these. I think the idea of them soaking in Crisco is not too good. Do you have the recipe you used to make them before, those looked good.
I havent made yorkshire pudding before but yes I have made popovers and finally found a good recipe I use.
I threw out the yorkshire puddings. I suppose the would of been soaking in veg oil if i had used that.
Good morning, We had lots of rain yesterday and overnight but it has ended now. It was kind of a cold rainy day so I stayed inside. Good morning Jenn. How fun it was to see turkeys. When I was up north at Jo-Ann’s we saw turkeys in her yard. It was fun. What kind of store is marden’s?
This is from their website what they sell. I love browsing it’s huge and you never know what you will find.
We have or had a store similar to that but I never was in it.
It’s very clean and well run, not like a junk shop at all. Though junk shops can be interesting.😃

Just dyed my hair a lovely deep brown but after washing it off it looks black so hoping when it dries its going to change as a woman my age with black hair is kinda stupid !😱
It might just look darker since it is wet still. I hope you get the desired color when it dries. Let us know!😀

Good morning, woke to sun streaming in but it changes so quickly to a grey sky ! Lidl’s doughnuts are not all that nice as Ash ( my weekly visitor ) got me some as we have a brand new Lidl just up the road and its easy just to pop up but the Co-op just down the road do lush ones but saying that Mark got some fruit and nut chocolate and it was really good so when he is down again I shall get him to load up with loads and pass out with sugar overload, lol ! 😉

We have to do the shopping today and she is worried what would happen if she had a turn in the store.
We have got to 8-00 when the store opens to make up her mind.
She is moving ok this morning and it looks like we will be on our way soon.

She soon recovers and this morning she feels fine and we went around lidl’s ok.
Legs that is what I struggle with, knees the biggest problem but I can still put one foot in front of the other.lol.😘

We made it ok once again not too bad at all today.
We will be making an appointment next Tuesday as I have a COPD appointment on the day.I do realist isa very serious condition but she does come around pretty quickly.
I have ordered some electrolyte drink that contains vitamin and minerals Sodium included.😀😘

Good Morning! Sunny and 56 going up to 84. I was sleeping so deeply this morning that I didn’t hear Craig’s 5:15 alarm. But I did wake up with my 6:00 AM alarm. I could easily have gone back to sleep but I made myself get up. If we didn’t have the kitties I probably would have stayed in bed this morning.
