Hello..I can’t remember if I said much about my little trip to my sister’s so I’ll tell y’all the main things…she lives in a small town with other small towns around her so we spent time in three…went to shops, cafes (ate outside), parks, cemeteries…two of the days were in the 90s so we stayed in the shade and took shorter walks…her grandkids (foster son’s kids and wife) came over …it had been three years since I saw the older one, he’s 4 and I got to see the younger one for the first time, so cute. We also got… Read more »

Hi Lynn,

Hi Jenn…we live in IL but he’s heading to southern IL…he said it’s dusty and doesn’t smell great…water or humidity damage, mouse chewed things, a snake…lots of old stuff…he came home with a couple signs and is trying to clean them up, also old photos

Good morning, It feels chilly only 33 degrees this morning. It is sunny all day again though and will be going up to almost 60. Yesterday we had a message our package had been delivered, a carbon monoxide alarm, but it said it went to Waldoboro. We decided to go and pick it up and we had a few things to do there like clean out planters we left with a few plants that the frost had gotten to. Denny wanted to stop for lunch at Delano’s the Seafood restaurant takeout we like in the area. It was good and… Read more »

It looks pretty but kind of lonely with the table and chairs and curtains on the front deck gone and the leaves on the trees. It will all be back in the Spring though and change is good I always say. 😊

Hi Jenn, the first thing I think when I look at your cabin is I could go out and walk around there as no people around, if I had money I would find a place like that over here and enjoy the outside world ! Do you miss it or is the fact you will be back next Summer take away that feeling must be nice to have all that space to enjoy the sun and nature but time passes so quickly it will be Summer again before you know it, well that’s what keeps me going anyway, lol !… Read more »

Beryl, how I wish you had a place where you could get out and walk about and feel safe. ♥ I do love the privacy at the camp and do so look forward to returning for the Spring, Summer time. I also do like it very much here we are in a city with all stores and health care right close to us. Also the roads here for walking are ideal and we are both walking much more. Being here is perfect for this time of year though we both feel, and so grateful we have the camp for privacy… Read more »

Good morning
Brrrrr what a change, it is 56° right now but it is only 4:40 am. There is a lovely moon out there in the clouds.
I went walking yesterday morning and then gave myself a pedi and polish and applied animal print to my fingernails.
I called cousin Ray since it was one year ago yesterday that Jolene died suddenly.
Rick made Mexican potato soup for supper…YUM!!
We watched some of the first game of the World Series and saw Val the eagle.

Hi Ardy,
Great picture of the eagle, they are so magnificent to watch them soaring. The moon looks so white and bright. We have been watching it getting rounder on evening walks.🙂
Your nails look so neat.😘

Happy Saturday Ice,
Sounds very ‘soggy and wet’ for you now but the rain always welcome.
I am waking at different times lately, a little later and that will be good for the time change coming soon that will be an hour earlier but I do not like the time change.

Hi Jenn.
Very soggy but welcome for a while to finish the drought.
We could do to be waking later as well.
Will be interesting having an extra hour to stay in bed, but will probably be wide awake by then.😀😘

With the majority of people against changes the clocks they still will not vote to change it in the Senate but the Congress passed it on to them so they are letting the American people down.😌
