Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I know what you mean, Pam. None of my family does it anymore. And most of my friends are either gone or are sick.
So many of my friends are gone and i don’t keep in touch any of the people i used to work with. i’ve been retired from the phone co since 1996 and from US Foodservice since January/2013.
Weird and sad how people we get used to talking to every day, for many years, just seem to disappear.

Did you get seasonal stamps or regular stamps? Do they still make Christmas stamps?
I didn’t like the truly Christmas stamps so I bought pretty snow stamps.

Good afternoon…I worked on a few more cards and lists, rewrote because they were kind of a mess. I went out with Bane to give one of his favorite mail ladies their gift bags…Christmas jam, gingerbread shortbread cookies, and cocoa pop, and a card…he was so happy to see her and she just loves him…she’s not our regular one but we see her once in awhile, sometimes once a week or two, sometimes less than that. DH is home now, we might go to a couple stores, or his dad’s, or both later.

Howdy-do BellaFam 🎄 Laundry/shower done, cats fed. It’s warmer here than in the Carolinas 🌞 I just know Chuck’s going to steal the hot water before i can get my own shower. We were lucky to have a regular bathroom upstairs and my parents finished off the basement and had a shower stall in one corner where thr water ran out and into a drain….when mom added her Beauty shop they had to have a toilet for the customers.
