Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds. I’m busy doing Christmas cards, but now I’m running out of stamps. Good grief I can’t get it right this year. I thought I had more stamps than I can find. I got really tired early afternoon yesterday and once I do, it is hard for me to get over it. So it made it hard to do the cooking and usual chores. I still wasnt good yesterday or early this morning. My legs were so restless but, I think I might be feeling better now.
Roger still isnt himself but sleeping now.

Thanks Debbie The last three mornings when I get up I’ve been so restless with my legs that I can’t even hope sits still on the couch and and sleep. This morning I did rub some Voltaren on my shoulder area and I think maybe that has helped a little bit

Thanks Karen this was interesting. NEFL had the sub adult invading their space last year. Everyone thinks it was probably the previous year offspring. Beau chased it away and it keep coming back. Eventually the adults accepted the juvenile and treated it almost like family.
I was amazed at the speed and cunning of this juvenile in comparison to the two adults.. The title says it’s a sub adult, but I don’t think so.
I think they call them sub adults until they start to get a white head?

It was not a traditional movie, more like a docu-drama. They had biblical scholars and historians giving information. It was very interesting.
