Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hey there. Just doing some piddling around right now. Did you enjoy your movie?
The movie was good, not your typical movie though. It was the story of Joseph, Mary, Jesus and the events the first 2 years of Jesus’ life. I told the story more like Biblical scholars really think it was like. It didn’t contradict the Bible but more like added what it would have been like in that period of time. Example, yes Jesus was born in a stable but that stable was likely in a cave owned by relatives. Bethlehem was full of caves and they put the animals in them at night.
Gonna watch the Kevin Costner movie I’ll check in periodically.

Took a nap and slept till 1:00. Got up and did almost nothing. I hope to be able to sleep tonight. It could have been worse, though. At least I feel okay. ☺️ Tomorrow is another day, and another opportunity to excel!! Right? 😘

Whew. I haven’t done as well as usual today and I would pick today to do some cooking. Not a lot of cooking, but then dishes too. I haven’t been able to get to any Christmas cards. So that about sums up today!

Ham steak, kale. I bought a frozen thing of seasoned roasted Brussels sprouts and carrots and I added fresh mushrooms.

Good evening…I worked on cards,, still have to work on lists more…went to Kroger and DG with my mom for a few things..she wanted to see where the earrings that I saw at Kroger were..showed her and she said they are cute but too much, lol (6.99)..she said there are only $5 at Walmart. 😀 They are Christmas earrings. DH is making tacos in awhile, I’ll continue with cards and lists.
