Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. The chicks will continue to grow in the nest for about three to four weeks before fledging. More information about the cams, set-up or to make a donation please visit alyssasnaturesanctuary.org.

Yes, they mentioned she was a tennis fan.
Ladies, I would like to stay and chat for a while longer, but my eye surgery appointment is tomorrow at 8:00 a.m., so I need to get a few things done and eat and go to bed early. I hope to talk to you all tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good night. Sweet dreams. 😘🤗 💙🩵💜
Eye surgery? I don’t remember eye surgery?
I think i mentioned it last week. There is a thick film over my eye after having cataract surgery years ago. It is common. The surgery should only take about 2 minutes, but I want my eyes to be refreshed beforehand.
well good then and you will be able to see better🤓
Oh yeah!! 🫣
Good luck Karen~!
Thank you Ardyth
Did they call it polishing the lens? Jo and I both had that done. It is painless but I think they put goop in your eye so it might be hard to drive home. Maybe I’m thinking of the actual cataract surgery. Good night sweet heart, get your rest.
It is called a “YAG” Laser Capsulotomy. Kind of like a second cataract. They call cateract removal surgery also.
Thanks, Debbie. I’ll check in after I get home. You sleep good too, honey. 😘❤️
I’m sure that was what we had done he just explained in a less technical way. Good luck tomorrow and good night.

Good evening…DH was gone all day again..the dogs missed him at lunch time and he’ll be here late. I did a little of this and that, also walked the dogs, did agility with them, read on the porch, did a word search and now doing a crossword puzzle. I just had some pizza for dinner, will give the rest to DH.
Hi Lynn😍 such a beautiful day to be outside😘
