Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I had a nice walk on my way I stopped to help my neighbor Andy he had sort of fallen and was in a sitting position by his front steps. He couldn’t get up so I helped him get up. He was greatful and I wouldn’t of seen him if I hadn’t gone out front. One of his sons came shortly after I helped him up. I’m making a Apple, strawberry crisp today. Judy gave me some apples and I need to use them up. I have fresh strawberries to use also. Oh crap I need to go get some brown sugar at the Dollar store so now I’m going for a walk, maybe get some vanilla ice cream too?

Good late morning…sitting on my porch…might get rain on and off. I don’t have anything planned for today, maybe just a couple small jobs. Debbie, there is a Rural King not far from here so it’s also a midwest thing…to me, it’s ok, I like other ones better.

No Rural King’s in Wisconsin, nearest one is in Illinois😂 Think there’s to much competition with Fleet Farm and Farm and Fleet, and L and M. We are loaded with farm stores
