Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Rick just got home and left……………….Nikki has a narrowed trachea and that is why she is coughing so much. So he has to get her a narcotic. So he went to Walgreens to see if they even have it. That is all that I know so hopefully they will have the medication and it will help her.

Seems like she would need something similar to a bronchial dilator, but what do I know? I think of a narcotic for pain. I hope Rick can find the medication. Does the university there by any chance have a veterinarian school?

I hope the med helps her be more comfortable
if they don’t, hope another place does..we have Walgreens and CVS..also of course Kroger and Walmart have pharmacies

Poor thing sounds like she can’t breath, I don’t know what the narcotic will do? think they would of given her a steroid?
She cant breath very well but we knew that.

You had a lifetime with Rick, there is no time limit now. Some day you will realize out of the blue the time is now. No one can do that for you. You and Chuck may need to be patient with each other if the timeline doesn’t coincide, but I doubt that will be a problem. Love each other, but don’t forget to love yourself. You both already did what really mattered and you both should be proud.

I went up to Walmart this morning to have chance adjust my frames since the girl didn’t Do much to him or seem to care. He definitely has more training as he looked at my glasses on my face and then checked to see what it looked like behind my ears. Glad you got the glasses done and to your satisfaction. It sure would be great if they could help her cough, especially since she does ok in other ways. New medicine comes out all the time that can help.
The cough is from fluid around the lungs…..maybe there is a different pill than she is taking?
I thought it was heart related. Is this the same problem, the one involving lungs, the other Nikki’s had?
Congestive heart failure, this is What happens to Japanese chins So yes it has something to do with the heart but it also has something to do with the fluid around the heart and something makes it really hard for them to breathe and so they cough
