Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I ran the video back all the way — it was all nighttime, so no eagles seen yet. I hope he has a mate. I think he got one at the end of last year.

Not all day. My appointment is 2 pm CT, 3 in Somerset. I’ll probably get take out Chinese after the appointment and then straight home. I’m guessing I’ll be home by 4:30 CT. But I’ll go earlier than necessary to go to a store or two, depending on how I feel, my mood. I want to go to the new farm store just for fun, I don’t have to go there. One more story, Little girls-sisters from down the street had one of these they made so we went through the questions and numbers, I picked a number out and the younger of the girls probably like 8 years old opened what I picked and it said to “eat poop” I laughed so hard the girls were screaming and laughing because they got to pull a prank on someone. I used to make these all the time when I was a kid. I’m going to make one and have some fun
