Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. My mom was lucky, insurance paid for hers
She’s recovered good from that surgery? no pain any more?
She hasn’t had eye surgery.
No didn’t she have a heart procedure?
Yes it isn’t called surgery.
But it has done really well, healed good. I don’t know if ‘“healed” is the right word. It is in place and they want tissue to grow over it.
She had pain afterwards so was just wondering how she was feeling
The pain was mostly in the groin area where they insert stuff. I had an aneurysm in that area. That is gone now.

Eye injections must be awful. I’m sorry to hear that, Debbie. Glad she got help with the costs.
She is scared about going blind.
That is so sad, Debbie. What do the doctors say to her about that?
Not really a lot except discuss the different shots.
Do they dicuss or mention possible blindness?
They act like there will be some vision but already she reads with a magnifying glass.
I think they really can’t be sure how bad it can get any more than we know how long we will live.

This that he got today is a liquid. She takes two other meds every 12 hours and this will now be included.
I wonder if animals get addicted to narcotics like people do?

Good afternoon…sitting on my porch..in the 80s and humid…we might go out for dinner..I’d like to do outdoor dining but will see if DH thinks it’s too humid. I’ve been cleaning here and there, and no wondering if I should do more, lol…that’s enough for me. Maybe I’ll read on my porch, not sure what else…don’t have to water, it rained here. I had leftover pizza for lunch.
It cools off pretty quickly in the evenings here. Maybe it will enough there to eat outside.

I’m in the waiting room. I went to Rural King it is huge. I takes up the whole old KMart which was a big one. I just bought some wild bird seed and popcorn in a bag. I got a Catalina chicken burrito at the Bell, then went to Aldi’s. All I got was a great price on grapes and 2 packages of center cut pork chops. I was disappointed I couldn’t find any Chuck roasts. I didn’t see any roasts. I hope I don’t have to wait too long. Then the Chinese and home.
I bet the burrito is good…haven’t been there in so long but used to get their bowls once in awhile.
Hi Lynn the Burrito was ok, not my favorite. I really wanted a gyro at Arby’s but it was 130 more calories. And I’m taking home Chinese! So maybe I will get the gyro when I know I’m gave baked fish and low calorie roasted veggies for supper.

Not really wontons are much thinner, but the concept is the same different flavors in the fillings
