Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I took them this morning but forgot them last night. 😫. Including the most important one, the blood pressure. I’m taking a 12 hour pill every 24 hours, so it is already stretched. Pressure this morning 130/87, higher than usual but not dangerous and that was 36 hours since the last pill!

Good morning…since I go to bed kind of early…I missed this but watched the video just now, of Michelle Obama 💕 on Jimmy Kimmel, was very good. Going to make some more coffee (Dunkin gingerbread) and turned the heat up, it’s cold in here…I always turn it down at night. Think I’ll do a bit of cleaning, maybe? wrap a couple gifts, we’ll see…no plans on going out. It’s gradually warming up, will feel like a heat wave…getting into the 40s and even 50s next week!! 😮

One year ago today we had the school shooting here..one student who was shot in the head just got out of the hospital and is learning to walk and talk again-its amazing how the doctors saved this childs life💖
A sad thing to remember. Thankfully this one made it.
It is sad and also sad this he just made it out of the hospital a year later, that’s a long recovery for a young person- lots of catching up to do

She has some type of infection, She was admitted to the hospital. Judy’s Mom has a bladder and kidney infection and the lower lobes of her lungs are full so doing more tests. Judy hopes they keep her a couple of days
UTI infections can cause a lot of things like falling, confusion. But she has two different things going on with the lungs. I wonder if there is a connection. Prayers for her.
Judy and I talked about that-she thinks because the kidneys are not working right, hence the infection. The fluid might be from her kidneys. They are running more tests, its good they know now to treat that type of infection more specific than a broad spectrum antibiotic
She is where she needs to be. Lots of older people down there, they are well versed in taking care of them.
Wow Julie, poor Judy. I wonder what caused this infection. Do you know where it is located? Made me think about my basketball knee which turned my body into the Philsbury dough girl. Blood work didn’t diagnose it, it took surgery. I hope they can get a diagnosis without that so they can treat it effectively. And oh poor Gary. Was the fall caused by ice? Maybe just tripped? It was on her leg, but the problem is the kidney bladder infection, that’s why she I in the hospital-thats why I want you to be careful UTI
Yes I know about UTI. It can cause really bad things, like hallucinations and falling among older folks.
They also can get bad really fast. I had a bad kidney infection many years ago, I did have to go to the ER and had a bad fever and did hallucinate- I had bugs coming down from the light in the ceiling, I knew I had to get to the ER
