Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…just got caught up on the chat..not much time to post, so busy petsitting, Christmas get togethers, my pets and house, etc…we have out get together with our mom, siblings, tomorrow…really don’t like it after Christmas but that’s when it is this year..I won’t be stayiing as long as some since I’m petsitting. actually, I meant to say with our cousin..we exchanged gifts. My sister and I do actually have our own private one either tonight or tomorrow night..she doesn’t like to open ours in front of the others so we do that at my house. I’m petsitting two dogs. well, we splurge a bit and likes to take her time maybe and doesn’t like people watching. DH has to be at his rentals when the gas is turned on sometime…between 8 a.m. and midnight 😮.sooo…not sure what he’s going to do, can’t imagine just being there all day waiting…

when I hear Irish or Italian cream, I just think of coffee flavoring or creamer
It can be as a stand alone drink, like a cordial
I dont waste it on coffee, I use whipping cream in my coffee….yum

Happy Boxing Day — aka day after Christmas Mostly cloudy, heading to 70; other than a shower, which is already done, nothing else on the agenda 😎 These new slippers have already come in handy. This Dell laptop runs hot; it’s shut itself down because of overheating. Good morning Pam, I like your Boxing Day! It is also carry out a lot of extra trash day! They do make cooling pads for laptops, but sounds like you got it covered. They aren’t expensive though. Like your 4 corners photo.
i’ve tried diff cooling pads, none of them work that great. the floor fan is the most effective.
I hope you can angle it so it doesn’t blow in your face.

i have a cooling pad for the laptop; it’s not particularly effective

Hi Deb. I don’t usually have a problem with my ipad unless I use it a lot while the charging cord is plugged in. But my old laptop which Jo mostly used, we used a muffin tin inverted on our lap. It was more comfortable and it worked.
I always leave my laptop on my desk, but yeah putting something under it helps sometimes, I have heard of the cooling pads but never tried them and now not sure I will when Pam says they are not very effective…I use my tablet when I don’t feel like sitting at my desk
Oh my gosh I could never sit at a desk all day on my laptop. I can’t sit still but I think you know that. That’s why I have a laptop for my lap and I carry it everywhere I Go
I don’t sit at my laptop all day, I use my tablet when I want to be away from my desk…I sit at my laptop maybe an hour at a time throughout the day….but I can see with your RLS that can be a problem

I don’t even own a desktop or a laptop, seems my iPad does everything I want. It is a large tablet about as big as a small laptop. I bought a detachable keyboard I’ve never used when I bought the iPad. I guess I should because I make more typos on this touch screen than I would on a keypad, but I just don’t want the extra bulk.
I don’t have a desktop either but yeah iPad/tablet are very convenient

I find that my tablet is not comparable to a computer or I should say laptop like storing just everything just not the same I would much rather use my laptop especially for storing my pictures
I don’t have near the photos you do so that is a big difference. My iPad is 256 gb so it holds quite a bit. I’ve had it a good while now and its storage is less than half full. So it works for me.
They do have iPads with as much or even more storage than your laptop. But I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think you can move things to an external storage. Maybe. I know I have a cable where I can move photos from a real camera to my iPad.
Deb, not particularly effective, but they are plenty Noisy and Uncomfortable on my legs.

We had to almost stand on our heads to get a limb in each corner at the same time — it was more fun than half a foot in 2 corners
