Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hi everyone. I’m full from supper (Christmas leftovers) and cozy in recliner watching a movie called Max. It’s about traumatized Marine war dog whose human soldier died. Dog was brought back to the U.S. and soldier’s family adopted him. Dog and soldier’s young brother emotionally heal together. Good movie so far. So easy to make.
My meatloaf takes an hour to assemble. 1.5 hours usually to cook.
An hour? Must be delicious from all that loving care to make🙂 Mine is a lazy toss it all in a bowl, mix and throw in oven😁
I have to dice a green bell pepper, onion, I can’t remember about celery, cube up cheese, put a sleeve of saltines in a blender to pulverize, open a can of tomato sauce. I’m a slow dicer.
That sounds delish? You’ve given me the idea to add green pepper to mine – thanks! Celery and onion is already in the stuffing I add.

Stuffing? That sounds good. I’ve not seen celery and onion in a dry stuffing mix, it must be prepared.
Yes, because I am a lazy cook. One bowl recipe. I get the Pepperidge Farm cubed Sage & Onion dressing. Has some celery in it. I throw a couple eggs in a bowl, whisk, add milk then stuffing and let stuffing soak till mushy. Then add oregano, marjoram, rosemary, garlic, thyme, parsley, woo woo sauce, S&P, mustard, tomato paste. Blend then add beef. With hands,i mush and mash and toss on oven.
Wow you put in a lot of spices. I think my meatloaf just has salt and pepper. All those spices must make it delishous. I never know what spices to add. Your meatloaf sounds more time consuming than mine, especially if you actually measure those spices.
You are not a lazy cook. I want to come eat at your house.
Nope, no measuring. I use herbs so much in cooking that I don’t need to.

Eating like this is what helps me with my diet. There is a lot of food there which satisfies me. But the meat is relatively low fat, 120 calories for all the meat. I usually don’t put sauce on that ham but I was in a saucy mood and it is 5 calories for 2 tablespoons. Then the veggies are relatively low cal even though I spray with olive oil. Not exactly a lot of people’s fav but it is healthy and fills me up.

It would be easier for me if I was doing the injections that curb your appetite ……It’s not that easy to cut back without help.
I really dont want to do those shots since they dont know about them long term, especially for people like me that arent diabetic.

Good evening everybody. I was in bed most of the day. I was up most of the night, still helping clean the mess up that my husband made when he put his six pack of Pepsi in the big freezer in the garage. I can’t tell you the amount of work involved in trying to clean that all up, with everything that was in there and the size of the freezer. Good grief Karen why did he put it in the freezer, just to get them cold fast and forgot or is he having mental issues? Is he not capable of cleaning up his own messes? If the Pepsi had sugar that can make the mess worse! Sticky.
Hey Debbie. 😘 Oh yeah, it was a full six pack of sugar loaded pepsi. And he put it in there to get it cold the other day, and he forgot about it. So everything was all sticky and had to be all wiped down, some things I had to re-wrap. We used the fridge/freezers in the garage and kitchen to put things temporarily while we treated everything else. Thank God we had those spots to put some things. Oh I’m so sorry Karen. I bet you did a better job than I would. I’m so sorry you had that. I don’t blame you for wanting a shower. I would have gone to bed and cleaned it today.

Thanks Pam. 😘 I’m so glad I was able to save just about everything. A few small things didn’t make it, but it’s okay.
What was it that kept things from making it?
Their size. Small items like popsicles, etc, with the Pepsi stuff on them, got kind of soft, and some got soft from me trying to wipe them down.
Oh I could see things like that. You couldn’t just rinse them off.
No, they would definitely melt. I really couldn’t rinse anything, I had to wipe it all down. The rinse is too much water at a lower temp, and it starts to melt the wrapping.
So much work Karen. Did your husband at least help you?
Oh yeah, I had him running constantly, back and forth from one freezer to the next. He was quite busy.

I’ll bet! Many years ago, the town lost power in the summer. I stayed elsewhere till it came back on just to have air conditioning. When I got back into town and home, the mess in my freezer was similar. Melted ice cream was the worst!🥴🙂

The liquid could seep all the way to the bottom pretty quickly when you opened the door. Ice cream maybe oozed a little slower.
