Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Controversy not about Amber Glenn who came in number one tonight. Amber Glenn was born on October 28, 1999 in Plano, Texas. She started skating at the age of 5 in Plano before relocating to Euless in 2016.
They are so cute when they’re that little out there ice skating.
I finished watching the ice skating and then somehow ended up on YouTube watching Monkey World videos for a bit. Those characters sure are a lot like us. I love watching baby gorillas, chimpanzees and orangutans play. I can’t help but laugh when I watch them. 🥰

Oh yes! What an amazing woman! I know she just passed in September or October. She did some amazing things.
Agree- she was awesome! The work she and Fossey did have us so much understanding about primates.

I am but I can’t stop looking at the becorns. Go to his web page and click on the explore, if you go to videos there are about 5 to click on and he shows the interactions. Each one is not very long but just makes this bit of nature art more warm. Things so simple turning into something that just grabs your heart. Unbelievable. Remarkable. This guy has a real talent and imagination. He makes it all look so real. You find the best things. Was it you that posted those, I’m trying to think, maybe clear ornaments with wildlife inside them. I think the most neautiful things I’ve ever seen. I want them but I don’t know what I’d do with them.

I don’t think it is about where she was born, but the fact she is pansexual. I’m just shaking my head. It is the only thing that seems to be an issue. Just a few articles mentioning that she mentioned something to that affect. Nothing to do with her skating what so ever. Now I’ll go look at the little becorns again. They don’t care and neither do I about that stuff.

I went to the becorns website. There are so many of them and they are all so cute! I don’t know why I’ve never heard of this acorn art form.
I know me either and I grew up in RI and have family there. The article was in a magazine from New England and I’m surprised he wasn’t mentioned before. I have thousands of acorns around my property every year and curse them for many reasons. This year I’m going to make a little becorn person. I have things with seeds, berries, grasses and what nots.
