Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Yes, we do get cold every now and then ….in 2013 we had four nights of 17°

That was the time frame when mom died, so Muriel and i stayed in the hospital for three nights

Ooh, that is COLD! I remember living in Albuquerque years ago, there would be wintry weather. Don’t think it got that cold though.
Good morning..so far a cloudy cold day…chance of sleet in the next hour, sun or partly sunny and 30s, mid afternoon. No plans, really..will see if DH needs to go to a store. I enjoyed he ice skating last night, more tonight.

Brrrrr☃ It is cold this morning. It is 33°
Yesterday was another day of not doing much. I did apply my fingernails and Kurt came over for a haircut.
Rick has been under the weather now for a few days, he doesnt have a fever but runny nose, scratchy throat, etc. It is probably a cold.
We just had left over soupr for supper but he did make biscuits.

Good morning Bellas☀️ It is a wee past 7 am. A light snow is falling gently in the morning light. It is lovely. I’m pleased temps will stay above freezing today though barely. Hi. Sorry, I didn’t realize my iPad needed charging. I remember that about captive birds. The gal Sue I told you about that had a roomful of birds – I asked her once how she and her husband got any sleep early morning. I get those “this and that” days. I seem to be morphing into one here. I can type on my iPad and still charge. Changes in weather can affect our bodies and energy level. I am having a sluggish day. The temp is 55 and this time tomorrow will drop to low 30’s. Don’t fight it, you are retired and earned the right to take each day as it comes. I don’t mean to say ne neglectful, but things like Goodwill can wait. I responded to an unanswered email a little while ago.
I can charge it if I am sitting in recliner or couch. I have a lamp I got from Amazon that has a wood base with USB port and electric outlets but my charge cord is so short that it makes it hard. A longer cord is on my things to get list. 55 sounds wonderful. Is the sun out?
Dreary outside. I have charge cords going from 3 feet to one I’ve never used, probably 12 foot!
Good Morning Bellas, looking out the window snow is falling it started out as big flakes but now its just lite snow-hope breakfast is still doable and roads are good.
