Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Congratulations Bear fans. About the most exciting game I’ve watched in a long time, and I can’t believe the outcome. The commentator just said a comeback for the ages. The Packers had a commanding lead most of the game to the point the game was a little boring. But somehow it turned and Chicago came out on top. Sorry Julie.
I couldn’t get it here. Rooted Packers but proud of the Bears as tyat is my home state team. Though I have no love for the state of Illinois…lol.
Came on to check for the latest info on Julie’s dad. Glad nothing broken and he is being taken care of. Think we all know about elderly parents and emergencies. Did her mom go home or are they keeping an eye on her as I’m sure she was frantic?

Julie’s Mom didn’t go to the hospital, it is about 45 minutes away. She wanted to follow the ambulance in her car but the EMT’s said it was slick and she should stay home. I’m wondering now how he will get home. Maybe a transport service, or will Mom go after him? Guess we will see.

It’s very windy and cold outside. And we just finished eating supper. Rick made pork chops coated in sour cream and panko and we had Brussels sprouts and he had a baked potato. I passed that. Time to say good night

Is anyone watching the ice skating? the channel won’t come in for me?
I cannot get ice skating on NBC local or on Peacock streaming. And I can’t find anything, anywhere that says why not. 😱
