Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Back home got my new nail clippers, when I was walking I got hit with a big gust of wind and snow, kind of fun being out when that happened 😃

Julie, moving here wqs a challenge because not even medicinal is allowed, So many vets have service connected PTSD and could benefit from it’s anti-anxiety properties wirhout all the negative side effects the paychotropics they’re prescribed by the VA give them.
I know of some shops where you can get herb and edibles-gummy’s
I have tried so many of those options and wasted so much money. I got so ripped off by the Happy Place. The gummies they gave me do help a friend of mine but I didn’t like it at all .I don’t want to feel stoned. I just want the gentle anxiety lowering effect. Was happy Trump reclassified it. I use them to sleep and back aches
I’m glad it helps. I use Arnica under the tongue and also topically to help control pain. The VA gave me this thing called an H Wave which is just a more intense kind of Tens unit. Also use ice pack, I’ve beenhitting the Arnica all day and last night for neck and left shoulder strain which is my fault fro poor posture while on iPad, Being better sitting correctly tonight.
Arnica is good, I have only used it for healing

Poor baby. i’m sure there are stores in Lexington. Just research if you do want to try, to make sure nothing would interact with any meds you are on. And take it when you can be at home.
It was just legalized last year in Ky for only medicinal reasons. You must apply for a card to purchase. I think only one store is open yet in the state and I forgot where. Others coming soon I think. I’m not sure about the stuff that is not really true marijuana, like a hemp derivative. I think in some form that is legal for everyone.
I’m mind boggled with all the alternatives out there. Hemp is a big thing here.
Seems regular marijuana would be bigger.
Not in WI. We have a conservative majority in our state legislature. They won’t even pass medicinal use of it. Ignoring research and studies.
Oh I thought edibles were real marijuana but I guess hemp derivatives.
I have friends that do too for medicinal purposes. All my friends are seniors with deal with arthritis pain, etc.

Long time ago when living in Virginia, I was in the local bird club and went on my first and only Christmas Bird count. I’ll never forget how good it felt to be done and join others inside by a fireplace with that cuppa cocoa. A bestest memory🙂

Finally bit the bullet and called the local HVAC company this morning. Had to leave a VM; they’ll call back and we’ll get the replacement of our furnace set up. 😔
Car started right up this morning, so the professional charge helped. Chuck made tuna/noodle casserole; great comfort food for this cold/windy day.

Hi Pam sorry you have to replace the furnace. What kind of heat do you use in your area, and does the same unit heat and cool? I know this is an expensive venture. Glad you got the car recharged and ready to go. I was thinking another option is to get a trickle charge. They are cheap and small, but attaching them and unattaching them would be a hassle. Not sure what kind of furnace it’ll be; i’m going to have the guy at HVAC recommend — the last heater i had to buy was a heat-pump in Phoenix 🙄 Rather than buying a car charger, maybe i’ll just drive it once in a while 😄

The mystery was solved about the package. I found out it was sent to me and we got it back from the post office. All is good. But I’m mad at Jo, she just insisted to take it back to the PO. I didn’t even have much time to think.

I sent Jo back to the PO. I told her this company has my address, now the post office has the package. I got no proof if a bill shows up that it was taken back to the post office. She was just in a hurry to take it back.
