Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Dads back at the nursing home/rehab he ended up having a blood clot also in his right leg, he’s on meds for it
That is good he is well enough to go back to rehab and being treated for the clot. That didn’t take long.
He’s being treated for it at the nursing home for the clot also he has to be on meds
That means he is improving.

You think they could just keep him at the hospital, Medicare covers 30 days. Its been a lot of back and forth, miles and gas
The nursing home probably has at least a nurse practioner on duty in the day time and at least one RN at night.
Theres a doctor on duty day time one at night

Just talked to my Mom she told me that-made me feel a little better about being there-the thing is he won’t eat the food there he hates it, and he won’t get better if he doesn’t eat
I don’t know what to say about the food. Nursing homes can be bad.

Oh no, she has to go home. She was supposed to go back Tuesday but changed it to next Tuesday.
She is staying at Gregs.

Awwww, thank you guest! How sweet of you to post the link here. Thank you. What a wonderful story. A win win for everyone. The parrot got a great home and the baby got a best friend. Sadly, too many parrots wind up in homes like the prior one for Feathers. I never understand why people don’t either sell or give away unwanted pets.

They are easy to take care of-mine ate meal worms and crickets
she just wants me to dump in some crickets one time 😀 might ask DH to do that 😂, I’ll see if he wants to meet the kitty and then say “by the way, could you feed the geckos? “
