Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I still want warm. I will need to cook a veggie for tomorrow. Maybe Brussels sprouts and sweet potato. I’ve never roast the sprouts, maybe i will since I’ll bake the tater.
I might roast my sprouts too. I’ve never done it before. I plan on having them tomorrow also, with my leftover chicken.

Try to look at the live nest. Got kicked out almost right away. I only saw one nest there, though.
Easier to see in the daytime but I circled two nests.

I think it was the weather. It was so windy for a while there that day. I thought the nest was going to blow away.
