Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. She has electricity and some kind of a AC/heat unit on the wall plus some floor heaters, So she can heat her place alittle plus her sewer pipe froze😫

They used her hair dryer to melt it, that worked😂

Bless her heart. Pee in the commode, put tissue in the trash, poop in a lined bucket! I hope she can stay warm enough. She should with the heaters. So she has water and can cook I supposed. She will be ok but it is still stressful.

Nancy has had a horrible time. The new generator isn’t working. The last text had so many bad typos I’m not sure of the message. I think Michael and Shonda are going to his shop and sleep on the floor, it has electric. I think Nancy and the chihuahuas have gone to Sherree’s. They don’t want the dogs they claim they are allergic and will be sick a month after they leave! Now get this. They have 2 dogs they have brought into the house due to the cold. I feel so bad for Nancy and her pups, It’s survival time-have to do what you have to do and that means not letting any living thing freeze to death-the Chihuahuas wouldn’t survive, you think they would be allergic to the long haired dogs and not the short coats of Nancy’s it will work out at least they are safe for now
Makes no sense to me. They both need to see an allergist. Yes, I know they will keep Nancy safe and she was not leaving without her dogs. I would be eating Benadryl before I even suggest she leave her dogs!

Snowed again overnight and boy was it cold when i got up: minus 8/feels like minus 26 (it was windy) Should get to around plus 40 this afternoon before plunging again tonight 🙄 Temps should be climbing all week. Hafta make a run to Pueblo, Kroger/Sams, probably Thurs; plenty of time for any leftover snow to melt and dry up.

Hi Pam I don’t think we get above low 20’s for a week and a half. We are 15 now. Sounds like you won’t have much trouble getting stocked up Thursday. Wow those photos, you would think it was the middle of the ocean during a hurricane.
Did you know on Amazon you can buy a fake Lice uniform and guy’s are using them to get into peoples houses and even kid napping people? even grabbing one woman and SAing her?
