Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. My turn to get my food. Maybe when I return the site will be better. I’ve got that delayed typing. It isn’t showing my typing as I type and it takes awhile to get the comment box.
I don’t know what is going on with the site. I end up retyping posts about 10% of the time. Long posts about 25-50 % of the time.
If you think you are going to type a long post then copy it about half way thru. Then if you don’t need it it doesn’t matter. If you loose the post then you can paste at least part of it and not have to retype everything.

I imagine the real reason is Judy didn’t want to be away from home to long. Otherwise you could eat between hospital stops and shop afterwards.
