Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…………Got my haircut and it is just under 4 weeks, normally i can go 6 weeks. I told Jayne I knew this haircut would be shorter but the bottom back was long…..she felt it and said it wasnt long but I said it was when i style it. Made it to 55 degrees today; it must’ve been fairly warm last night too; the skunks come out to feed when it’s warmer. Most of the food/water were gone this morning 🐾
Kroger/Sam’s orders placed and ready for pickup tomo. HVAC guy finally called back; now i have to find a day when Chuck’ll be here to show him where the furnace is 🙄
Going to read the basement/chat to see what’s happening today …

That cat can’t do a worse job than some nurses i’ve had trying to insert a needle! Prior to my colonoscopy, they had to call in an anesthetist because after 3 tries i told her to leave me alone!
Oh I know, Pam. They jab you, and jab you, and then look at you like you’re crazy. Makes me really appreciate those who can just walk in and, within 30 seconds, have it done. Sometimes I don’t even feel it.
The Dr they brought it was wonderful; popped it in with a flick of his finger. As an added bonus, he was drop dead gorgeous. 💗
