Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello…I was pretty lazy today, just did what I had to..read and took a short nap. Ardy, I think that woman was rude…even really old women in nursing homes like their hair done a certain way, that’s why they have beauty shops in them..that would make me mad and upset and I probably would have said something but not sure what..I usually think of things to say later. Hi Lynn good weather for lazy. I probably would be mad but wouldn’t say anything, just find someone else to cut my hair. But I understand Ardy too. She would have to drive further to get someone else affordable.
I wouldnt have to drive further……there are Supercuts within a mile from me, two of them. But, I dont know anybody who works at them. I use to drive to Catalina for Jacki to cut my hair, a good 30 minute drive to the two north of Tucson. I ruined that by asking her too many times not to take as much off the left side ……..because it was always shorter so after YEARS she dumped me……………I regret it now. There is NOTHING wrong with YOU. The bottom line is, you are paying for a service to your hair, YOUR hair. It is your call. My barber was talking about how a lot of the young women want their hair practically shaved on the sides. He said he just does what they want. He cut my hair too short in that area! I didn’t say anything at the time but next time I’m going to ask him to keep it short, but thicker, I.e., less tapering. Are Jacki and Jayne friends? Do they talk on the phone? I can see those two having a catty conversation and talking about you, comparing notes, feeding off each other, empowering Jayne to think she was entitled to be rude to you.

Ardyth, if you really like Jayne, would you be able to sit her down and explain to her how she made you feel? That may work everything out, or it may make you decide you definitely don’t want to go back. Just a thought. Hate to see you have to find another one. 🤗

it would be fine to say something though..you don’t have to be rude or mean back but just respectful…she should learn how to talk to customers, what to say and not say.
It is still the customers call. How she wants the hair cut. Even more so with Ardy who is a licensed stylist with decades of experience.
I have known Jayne since the early 90’s. Of course I didnt think what she said to me was nice at all. I was mad and upset but what am I going to do???
It is my hair and if I say it’s too long in the back then it is too long for me to style it the way I want it.
She has beautiful long naturally curly hair and I have straight hair which makes it harder to work with.
I would observe other women’s hair. If you see someone whose hair you like ask them who does their hair. Even a stranger in Walmart. Preface your question with a compliment, everyone likes a compliment even from a stranger. “I just love your hair. It looks so nice on you. Who cuts your hair?”

guess i would ask around and see where other people go if they like their stylist. My mom has always just done her own hair, saves a lot of money, I think it would be difficult though but she does it. I had a piece of the jerky, not bad..tastes just like if you bought it at the store.

Its too late to say anything…..I did explain it was too long in the back for the way i style it so she went up a little farther with the clippers. I haven’t styled it but it does look better in the back
