Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Sunny and 50 degrees today; windy/chilly in Pueblo. 🤗 Went into Best Buy to get a couple new headset charge-cords. Took a little doze after rummaging around in every single bag to find and put away the perishables into the fridge/freezer. I don’t know why the baggers have to put 1-2 perishables in every single bag rather than putting them all in 1 or 2 😏
Watching World News with David Muir; the weather east is atrocious! Those poor people/critters. 🙏
Hi Pam😘 that’s why I like doing my own bagging at Aldes, I put all the freezer stuff in one bag, fridge stuff in others it just makes it easy to put away.
Our Aldie’s doesn’t bag.
Right I like bagging my own, mine doesn’t either that’s why I said I like bagging my own because you can organize the bags
I did get assertive enough to get the frozens into the insulated bag.

I’d rather bag my own but every where I shop either the checker bags (Walmart) or there is a bagger (Kroger). By the time I get my stuff on the belt and get my card in the machine and the bagged stuff in the cart it is done. I have to hurry to keep up!
we always use boxes from the store but then I have to break them up to recycle them.

I didn’t go any where. Jo went to the dentist and took my newer car. It needed running and we were not sure it would start but it did.
I’m so glad the car started. I was worried about it. I obviously thought you two were going out together. I thought that’s why we didn’t hear from you most of the day. But I guess it was because you were having so much trouble communicating. I’m sorry that is happening to you, I know it’s very frustrating. 😥

Good to hear things are clear — and I say that in a whisper tone. Hope Jo had a decent appointment and isn’t having any pain.
Jo is fine today was the easy day of the process. First she had the root canal. You know that one and so do I. Then she had to be fitted and prepared for the crowns/bridges which I think is worse than a root canal. Today she just had to have the stuff glued in. Easy peasy.
Oh good. I bet she must feel like she’s having major construction, even though it wasn’t painful. I did. 🤔 Did you eat yet tonight?
I don’t have a bridge but I have 5 crowns! Two of them I’ve had since I was 11 and they have been replaced several times. So I know all about crowns. And I’ve had one root canal so I know that too. Yep, I had supper. Salmon that co,es in a box. It is “real” salmon just with a seasoning and I bake it. Then I had left over veggies that I roasted hesterday. It was all good. Got tennis on, live. Just lost my desire to cook, and that plus a few crackers sounds about right for tonight. I might have some peaches too though. You have had a lot of dental work, me too. I think it is Morely’s. Something like that. You know I think there is an ESPN + app you can get on your computer that is free. If you have a smart tv I suppose you can get it on your tv.

Hi Pam glad you are home safely. Must be a different headset than our tv ones. I know what you mean about going through the bags to get out perishables. When I get home I want to just get up the perishables and head for comatose time in my recliner. The non-perishables can be put up later!

Hi Pam! Glad you’re back home safe. Oh, how I miss the baggers back in the ’70s. So nice, polite, and got everything right, usually. And then they were always willing to drive the cart out to the car for me. Sometimes even loaded the bags into my car. I always left a tip – they deserved it.
I miss those days too Karen ♥ Doing pick-up is pretty close to that; they’re usually in a hurry and it’s hard to get my bags ready 🙄
I haven’t done pick-up in so long, I can’t remember much about it. I know they would get all my bags together and do their best to stuff them in every area available, trunk, backseat, front seat — wherever possible. Lots of groceries, small car. They did their best though. I know home delivery is becoming a pain, but I won’t even go into that tonight. Now that I know more about the system, etc, I do order about once a week or every week and a half. In the beginning, I used to order once or twice a month. And realized that wasn’t going to work. Off to bed. Can’t think straight right now. 🥴

That is unusual. But not to long ago I went to our little local Kroger and got a riding cart. When I checked out the checker asked if I needed help out. I said no, y’all are busy I can do it but maybe send someone after the cart later on. I was headed out to my car and an employee followed me out there!
