Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. You know she has congestive ♥ failure……..she has started coughing again, has some fluid on her right lung so needed meds for 30 days.
So she needs more med right now in addition to the regular one? Hugs and prayers. ♥️

Good late morning…drinking my vanilla cinnamon tea. Since I did a project yesterday (organized some things) might not do as much today, we’ll see…might call someone I haven’t talked to in quite awhile but she’s hard to get ahold of so I always have things to do here. High of 18 so not bad..I mean it’s double digits, woo hoo!
